  • 200 grams Honey

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan and heat, stirring occasionally, till the butter melts and sugar dissolves.
  2. Add oats, nuts, dried fruits, ginger and coconut and mix well.
  3. Grease a 20cm x 30cm cake tin and transfer the oat mixture into it. Spread it to about 2 cm thickness. Smoothen the surface with the back of a spoon.
  4. Place the cake tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or till lightly golden around the edges, but slightly soft in the center. Let it cool in the tin, and then turn out onto a plate. Cut it into squares, when cool.
  5. Dip each square half into melted chocolate and keep on a wire rack till the chocolate sets. Then refrigerate for 5 minutes. Serve chilled.
