Special buffet marks restaurants anniversary


More than 200 people turned up as The Yellow Chilli restaurant in Seef Mall celebrated its first anniversary. And also turning up for the grand occasion was India’s ‘chef extraordinaire’ Sanjeev Kapoor, the brains behind the franchise.

Celebrity Chef Sanjeev was on hand to pose for pictures in front of the restaurant as well as inside it with his numerous fans in Bahrain and also cut a cake to mark the occasion with officials from SunCity Ventures, the owners of the franchise.

An all-new menu and special buffet, featuring more signature seafood dishes and new delicacies from the master chef, was served at the event.

Bahrain’s Your FM 104.2 also conducted a live radio show along with Chef Sanjeev consisting of fun games and activities for everyone in the well-adorned restaurant.

Chef Sanjeev, who is the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine today, is a popular TV show host and has authored best-selling cookbooks among a range of other achievements. He has linked up with SunCity Ventures which has introduced well-known brands like Vapiano, Zayt Zaytoon and Gloria Jean’s Coffees to the kingdom.
