SanjeevKapoorcom launches in Hindi expects increase in revenue


Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor has now launched a Hindi version of his website The site includes Kapoor's recipes, articles on food, nutrition, health, kitchencare, meal planning, health tips, as well as articles by other celebrity chefs and food lovers, along with videos from the channel FoodFood.

According to a report in Afaqs, the Hindi website expects a 15-20 per cent increase in the revenue that the English website garners. The English website accounts for a 1,00,000 visitors every month, and over 8,100,000 million page views at the same time. Approximately, 52 per cent visitors are from India, while 27 per cent are from the United States. The rest are from Australia, Canada and other parts of the globe, claims Kapoor.

"The site will help spread our roots across the country. There is much demand from all over the world for recipes given out in Hindi and other local languages. Going forward, local language will play a huge role in content, hence, we launched the Hindi website," says Kapoor.
