Ingredients
- 1 medium red cabbage
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat butter in a pan, add sliced onions and saute. Add red cabbage and salt and mix.
- Add crushed garlic and mix. Add sliced apples and saute. Add sugar and raisins. Once the apples are soft add red wine vinegar or lemon juice.
- Add freshly crushed black pepper and mix. Serve hot and crunchy.
