Cook along with kids this Children’s day!

Children’s day in India is celebrated with a lot of gusto and is filled with a range of fun-filled activities at majority of schools throughout India.  Understanding the true essence of Children’s Day that is very relevant today is important. So, why don’t you too give it all the importance it asks for and pamper your kids with some good food? In this fast paced life, we often skip on the important things in life, like spending enough time with our kids! So, here’s a chance to do some cooking together and spend some quality time with them. Wear that apron, get going to kitchen and do some great cooking with your kids, it’s their day, make it special!

Here are some simple and delicious recipes all kids will love to make and eat too!

Black forest in a cup:

This is the perfect recipe to make along with your kids without spending hours in the kitchen. It tastes just like a black forest cake, but it’s a fuss-free recipe and simpler than a cake. Make sure to make in abundance and call up your kid’s friends while you make this amazing dessert.  Can anything that is so easy to assemble be so tasty? Yes indeed, try this out to believe it. Ask your kids to cut some cherries for garnishing!

Berry beet Smoothie:

Smoothies are always a great option to feed your kids, they love it and it’s good for their health too! So, why buy readymade fruit yogurt when a delicious, healthy drink can easily be made at home? Teach your little chef to whisk yogurt along with some berries and beetroot. Made with goodness of beetroot, and a delicious mix of antioxidant rich blueberries and strawberries blended with yogurt, honey and ice cubes this smoothie is a sure shot way to make sure you start your kid’s day on a lip-smackingly healthy note. Leave the garnish to them.

Cheese Pockets:

Cheese is something all the kids love. So, you can make it a cheesy children’s day for them with these Cheese Pockets recipe. Chop some capsicums, grate some cheese and bake these pockets, these mouth-melting cheese pockets is something one can never have enough of, so make sure to make a huge badge! Serve it alongside some tomato ketchup and plate it the way your kids will love it even more!

Pan fried noodles:

This recipe is not only super delicious but also a healthy one. Ask your kids to boil the noodles and you can chop in some exotic veggies. Made with loads of nutrition packed veggies, stewed chicken and served on a bed of noodles, this recipe will get better when your kids garnish it with some fresh spring onions. Don’t drool over it already, make it quick, because it’s very simple yet so delicious and fill your kids in a jiffy!
