By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ladyfingers, Yogurt Cuisine Tamil Nadu Course Raitas Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Vendaikkai Pachadi 8 Ladyfingers trimmed 1 tablespoon Yogurt 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 Whole dry red chillies 1/4 teaspoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal) 1 tablespoon Tamarind pulp to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Jaggery (gur) grated 2 cups Yogurt 1/4 teaspoon Rice flour Method Advertisment Cut ladyfingers into one inch long pieces. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry mustard seeds, red chilli and urad dal. When mustard crackles, add ladyfinger pieces and sauté for two-three minutes. Add tamarind pulp and salt. Cover and cook till done. Add grated jaggery and yogurt and mix well. Mix rice flour with a little water and add to the pachadi. Cook for a minute and Remove from heat.
