Ingredients list for Tomato Pesto Pizza

  • 2 Large tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Pesto sauce
  • 2 Small whole wheat pizza bases
  • 2 Medium onions
  • 2 tablespoons Schezwan chutney
  • 4 tablespoons Cheese spread
  • 2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 50 grams Processed cheese grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180º C. Slice tomatoes into roundels. Halve the onions and then slice
  2. Put schezwan chutney and cheese spread in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Apply some of this mixture on each pizza base, arrange some of the tomato and onion slices overlapping each other.
  4. Take pesto sauce in a bowl, add 2-3 tbsps olive oil and mix well. Drizzle some of the pesto sauce on top and sprinkle some of the grated cheese. Place the pizza on a baking tray.
  5. You can make pizzas using brown burger bun halves. Arrange the topping in the same way and bake in the oven.
  6. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, transfer on a serving platter and serve immediately.
