Thick Almond Soup As the name suggests, it is a thick almond soup By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Almonds,, Milk Cuisine Fusion Course Soup Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Ingredients list for Thick Almond Soup 20 Almonds, soaked in hot water 1 cup Milk 2 tablespoons Butter 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 1/2 teaspoon MSG to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder Method Remove the skin of almonds and grind into a paste by adding three to four tablespoons milk. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour to it and saute till fragrant. Add three cups hot water and stir gently, ensuring that there are no lumps. Add almond paste and remaining milk. Mix well and bring it to a boil. Add MSG, salt and black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for another minute.
