Ingredients for Thai Style Grilled Paneer Recipe

  • Cottage Cheese 300 grams

  • Thai Red Curry Paste 3 tablespoons

  • Garlic chopped 2 1/2 teaspoons

  • Curry powder 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Soy sauce 4 teaspoons

  • Peanut butter 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Galangal chopped 1/2 inch

  • Kaffir lime leaves chopped 2

  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

  • Oil 1 teaspoon + for grilling

  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

  • Lemon wedge for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Mix garlic, red curry paste, curry powder, red chilli flakes, soy sauce, peanut butter, salt, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and lemon juice in a bowl. Add one teaspoon oil and mix well.

Step 2

Cut cottage cheese into fingers and add to the marinade. Mix well and set aside to marinate for ten to fifteen minutes.

Step 3

Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Skewer the marinated cottage cheese fingers onto satay sticks, place them on the pan and grill, rotating the skewers, till evenly done from all sides.

Step 4

Place them on a serving plate and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and lemon wedge.
