By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dry coconut, Mawa Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Strawberry Coconut Laddoo 2 cups Dry coconut grated 1/2 cup Mawa 10-12 Cashewnuts 10-12 Pistachios 2 cups Sugar 1 tablespoon Milk 2 tablespoons Ghee 2 tablespoons Strawberry crush 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder Method Grate khoya. Roast and roughly chop cashewnuts and pistachios. Make a syrup with sugar and one cup of water. When it begins to boil add a tablespoon of milk to clarify the sugar syrup. Boil it to one string consistency. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté grated coconut till light golden in colour. Reduce heat, add khoya and sauté for two minutes and take it off the heat. Add roasted coconut and khoya mixture to sugar syrup along with strawberry crush, cardamom powder, chopped cashewnuts and pistachios and mix well. Divide into twelve equal portions and roll each to form a laddoo. Chill in a refrigerator till serving time. These laddoos should be used up fast.
