Spanish Tortilla Call it a tortilla or omelette, it is delicious all the same. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Onion Cuisine Spanish Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Spanish Tortilla 2-3 medium Potatoes peeled, quartered and finely sliced 1 large Onion sliced 4 tablespoons Olive oil 1 tablespoon Butter to taste Salt 8 Eggs beaten 2-3 Garlic cloves crushed a pinch Crushed black peppercorns for garnish Fresh parsley chopped Method Heat olive oil and butter in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till it turns soft. Add potatoes, cover and cook for fifteen to twenty minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt to the beaten eggs and mix well. Add garlic and crushed peppercorns to the potatoes and mix well. Add eggs, cover and cook for twenty minutes. Slide the tortilla onto a plate and place another plate on top, turn the whole thing over and slide it back into the pan to cook the other side.
