Spaghetti with Chilli Prawns

Ingredients list for Spaghetti with Chilli Prawns

  • 200 grams Spaghetti boiled
  • 10-15 Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined
  • 2-3 Fresh red chillies sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • + 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped for garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese powder
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic and red chilli and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add prawns, salt and 1 tablespoon chopped parsley and toss well. Cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat spaghetti in the same wok. Add vegetable stock, salt and 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, toss well and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Transfer the spaghetti in a serving bowl, top with cooked prawns, garnish with Parmesan cheese powder, peppercorns, parsley and serve immediately.
