Ingredients list for Spaghetti With Olive Oil, Garlic And Chilli

  • 250 grams Spaghetti
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chillies crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • a few sprigs Fresh oregano chopped
  • a few sprigs Fresh thyme

Method

  1. Cook spaghetti in sufficient salted boiling water to which one tablespoon of oil has been added till almost done (al dente. Drain refresh and keep aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic and sauté on medium heat for half a minute. Add crushed red chillies and crushed peppercorns and continue to sauté for another half a minute.
  3. Add spaghetti, fresh oregano and thyme and toss to mix well. Adjust seasoning and continue to cook for another minute till the spaghetti is heated through tossing and stirring continuously. Serve hot.
