This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Soya granules, Fresh breadcrumbs Cuisine Parsi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Soya Chop Patio 2 cups Soya granules soaked 1 cup Fresh breadcrumbs 1/2 inch Ginger piece sliced 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder a pinch Chaat masala 1 teaspoon Green chilli paste to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Cornflour for shallow frying Oil 100 grams Bhuna masala 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 1/2 tablespoons Brown sugar 2 tablespoons Tamarind paste Method Advertisment Place soya granules in a chopper, add fresh breadcrumbs, ginger, garlic, ½ tsp red chilli powder, chaat masala, green chilli paste, salt, 2 tbsps water and chop finely. Transfer the mixture into a bowl, add cornflour and mix well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into an oval chop. Pierce an ice cream stick at one end of each chop. Smoothen and place in the pan. Cook turning sides till evenly golden all around. Drain on an absorbent paper. Add bhuna masala to the same pan. Add remaining red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, brown sugar, tamarind paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add 1 cup water, salt and mix well. Cook till the masala thickens. Place the chops in a serving plate. Pour the masala over it and serve.
