Ingredients for Simple Curry Powder Recipe

  • Coriander Seeds 1/2 cup

  • Cinnamon 2 inch sticks

  • Cumin seeds 2 tablespoons

  • Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tablespoon

  • Curry leaves 15-18

  • Rice (raw) 1 tablespoon

  • Green cardamom 1

  • Cloves 1-2

  • Rampa/Pandanus leaves (optional) 2 inch pieces

Method

Step 1

Grind together coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, curry leaves, raw rice, green cardamom, cloves and rampa to a fine powder.

Step 2

Store this powder in an airtight container and use as required.
