Sausage and Sweetcorn Fritters A delicious starter made with sweetcorn and sausages. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken sausage, American corn kernels Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Sausage and Sweetcorn Fritters 8-10 Chicken sausage cut into ½ inch cubes 1 cup American corn kernels boiled and crushed 1/4 cup Refined flour (maida) 1 teaspoon Baking powder to taste Salt 1 Egg 3 tablespoons Milk 3 tablespoons Thai red curry paste 1/4 cup Spring onions with greens chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped for deep-frying Oil Method Mix refined flour, baking powder, salt, egg and milk in a bowl and whisk well to a thick and smooth batter. Add red curry paste and mix well. Mix corn kernels, spring onions with greens, coriander leaves and sausages in another bowl. Pour the batter on the corn-sausage mixture, mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop tablespoons full of the mixture into hot oil and deep-fry the fritters till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
