This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Red pumpkin (bhopla/kaddu), Khoya/mawa Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Red Pumpkin Ka Halwa Lal Kaddu Ka Halwa 1 kilogram Red pumpkin (bhopla/kaddu) peeled and grated 1/2 cup Khoya/mawa grated 4 1/2 tablespoons Ghee 3 tablespoons Sugar 10 Almonds finely chopped 5 Cashewnuts finely chopped a pinch Green cardamom powder Method Heat 4 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan. Add red pumpkin to it and sauté. Add khoya and sugar and mix well cook till pumpkin gets cooked and the mixture reaches halwa consistency. Reduce heat, add green cardamom powder and mix well. Heat remaining ghee in another non-stick pan, add almonds and cashewnuts and sauté on low heat.
