By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Potatoes, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Quick Aloo ki Sabzi 2 medium Potatoes peeled and cut into cubes 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds a pinch Asafoetida 5-7 Curry leaves 1 medium Tomato chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder Method Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves, mix and sauté for 30 seconds. Add tomato and salt, mix and cook till tomatoes are done. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and mix well. Add potatoes and chopped coriander and mix well. Add 1 cup water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 whistles. Add garam masala powder and mix well.
