By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pressed rice (poha), Potato Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Poha Roll 1 cup Pressed rice (poha) 2 medium Potato boiled peeled and mashed 2 Green chillies chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 11/2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts coarsely ground 1/4 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur) 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1 Egg beaten 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs to deep fry Oil Method Wash the poha in a strainer. Take mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add poha, green chillies, coriander leaves, peanuts amchur powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Roll it into desired shapes and then roll them in egg and coat with breadcrumbs. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai and deep fry them till golden brown in color. Drain on absorbent paper.
