Ingredients list for Pikelets

  • 1 cup Refined Flour
  • 10 Strawberries halved
  • Caster sugar 2 tablespoons + ½ cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg lightly whisked
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add strawberries and two tablespoons castor sugar. Stir and bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for twenty-five minutes.
