Ingredients list for Peanut Burfi

  • 2 cups Peanuts
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

Method

  1. Roast peanuts lightly. Cool and remove skin. Grind to a coarse powder. Grease a thali. Cook sugar with three fourth cup of water to get a syrup of two-thread consistency.
  2. Add ground peanuts and cook till the mixture thickens, stirring continuously at frequent intervals. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.
  3. Spread onto the greased thali and smoothen the surface. When slightly cooled, cut into squares and store.
