By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh Green Jowar, Gram Flour Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paunk Na Wada 1 cup Fresh Green Jowar 1 1/2 cups Gram Flour 2 tablespoons Yogurt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder a pinch Soda bicarbonate to taste Salt 1 medium Onion chopped 2 Green chillies chopped a few sprigs Fresh coriander leaves chopped to deep fry Oil 1 teaspoon Chaat masala Method In a large bowl combine besan, yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, soda bicarbonate and salt along with three fourth cup of water and whisk till smooth to make a batter of dropping consistency. Add paunk, chopped onion, green chillies and coriander leaves and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and drop teaspoonfuls of batter in the oil. Deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala.
