By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Long Penne Pasta, Button Mushrooms Cuisine Italian Course Noodles and Pastas Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Pasta In Mushroom Sauce 2 cups Long Penne Pasta boiled 3/4 cup Button Mushrooms chopped 1 tablespoon Butter 4-5 Garlic chopped 1 medium Onion chopped 1 cup White Sauce 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano 2 tablespoons Processed cheese grated to taste Salt Method To make the mushroom sauce, melt butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till light brown. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add mushrooms and sauté for three to four minutes. Add three-fourth cup water and cook for two to three minutes. Add white sauce, oregano, cheese and salt and mix well. Add penne pasta and toss till the sauce coats the pasta. Serve hot.
