By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Papaya Ripe, Fenugreek seeds Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet and Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Papaya Chutney 1 medium Papaya Ripe 1 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 2 tablespoons Fennel seeds (saunf) 1/4 tablespoon Cumin seeds 2 Whole dry red chilli 1/2 teaspoon Ginger,grated 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Tamarind paste 3 teaspoons Sugar a pinch Salt Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies, ginger , turmeric powder and salt and saute for few minutes. Add papaya and cook till it becomes soft. Add sugar and tamarind paste and cook for five minutes.
