  • 200 grams Cottage Cheese
  • 3 cups Fresh Pomegranate Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh pomegranate pearls
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Poppy seeds (khuskhus/posto) soaked
  • 10-12 Cashewnuts soaked
  • 1 1/2 inch cloves Ginger
  • to taste Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt whisked
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onions and sauté till golden.
    Grind poppy seeds, cashewnuts and ginger to a fine paste.
    Add pomegranate juice to the pan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Cut paneer into different shapes and add to the pan. Add salt, red chilli powder, ground masala and mix gently.
  3. Add yogurt and mix. Add green cardamom powder and mix.
    Garnish with fresh pomegranate pearls and serve hot.
