Ingredients list for Pancake Pops

  • 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • 1 Egg lightly whisked
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter
  • for shallow frying Butter
  • Maple syrup for drizzling

Method

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Make a well and add milk, egg, vanilla essence, melted butter and 1 teaspoon hot water. Whisk until a smooth batter is formed.
  3. Grease paniyaram pan with butter. Pour a ladle full of batter in it. Cook them till boththe sides are done.
  4. Serve hot.
