By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Onion, Tamarind Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Onion Chutney 2 Big Onion chopped Tamarind 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 10 Curry leaves 1 teaspoon Black gram split (urad dal dhuli) 2 Dried red chillies 2 Green chilli to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Oil Method Heat oil in non stick pan, add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, uradd dal, red chillies and green chillies. Saute till golden. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool. In a blender add the onions and blend with the above mixture to a smooth paste. Remove in a bowl add salt and tamarind water.
