Meant for dieters - coconut, desiccated coconut cooked with mawa and sugar to make these wonderful barfis.

Nariyal Ki Barfi

Main Ingredients

Scraped coconut, Khoya/mawa

  • Scraped coconut
    1 cup
  • Khoya/mawa grated
    1 cup
  • Desiccated coconut
    2-3 tablespoons
  • Ghee
    1 1/2 tablespoons
  • Milk
    2-3 tablespoons
  • Sugar Free Natura Diet Sugar
    2-3 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.

Step 2

Add scraped coconut and sauté till fragrant.

Step 3

Add khoya and mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Add milk and sugar free, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 5

Add desiccated coconut and keep stirring for 30 seconds.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture into a greased aluminium tray and spread evenly.

Step 7

Place the tray in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Step 8

Cut into squares or diamonds and serve.
