By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Onions, Masala peanuts Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Masala Peanut Onion Rings 4-5 medium Onions sliced into roundels and rings separated 1 cup Masala peanuts 1 cup Cornflakes 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons Cornflour to taste Salt for deep-frying Oil to sprinkle Red chilli powder to sprinkle Chaat masala Method Coarsely grind peanuts. Add cornflakes and grind into a fine powder. Transfer the powder into a bowl. Mix refined flour and cornflour in another bowl. Add water, little by little, and whisk well till you get a smooth thick batter of coating consistency. Add salt and whisk again. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the onion rings, one by one, in the batter till they are coated evenly. Roll in the peanut-cornflakes powder and slide into the hot oil. Deep-fry in till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle red chilli powder and chaat masala over them and serve hot.
