Ingredients for Magic Chocolate Mud Pudding Recipe
Cocoa Powder 5 tablespoons
Butter 60 grams
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Milk 2 cups
Refined flour (maida) 1 cup
Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tablespoon
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Lightly grease a four-inch deep loaf pan. Take butter in a pan. Add half the sugar and half the milk and heat gently stirring from time to time until the butter has melted and all the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and one tablespoon of cocoa powder into the pan and stir the mixture well. Pour the mixture into the greased pan and level the surface. Sift the remaining sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl and mix well.
Sprinkle this mixture over the pudding mixture in the pan. Pour the remaining milk over the pudding mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for fifty minutes or until the sponge has risen to the top and is firm to touch. Serve hot.
