Ingredients for Mac and Cheese Bacon Mini Pots Recipe

  • Macaroni boiled 1 cup

  • Processed cheese grated ½ cup

  • Bacon strips 2-3

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven at 180°C.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan. Add bacon strips and cook till crisp and lightly browned from both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3

Heat butter in another non-stick pan. Add flour and stir continuously till smooth. Add milk and mix well.

Step 4

Add salt and pepper powder, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add macaroni, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from heat and add half the cheese and mix well.

Step 6

Place 4 individual ramekin moulds on a baking tray. Divide the prepared macaroni mixture into each mould equally.

Step 7

Roughly chop bacon strips and add over the macaroni mixture. Top each mould with remaining cheese, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8

Serve hot.
