Ingredients list for Lauki ka halwa

  • 1 large Bottle Gourd peeled and grated
  • 1 litres Milk
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • for garnish Mixed dried fruits

Method

  1. Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil.
  2. Add lauki and cook till the lauki gets cooked and the mixture thickens.
  3. Add sugar and cook by stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves.
  4. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Remove and serve hot or cold garnished with coriander leaves.
