By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split black gram with skin (chilkewali urad dal), Rice Cuisine TamilNadu Course Powders Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Idli Dosa Chutney Powder 1 cup Split black gram with skin (chilkewali urad dal) 1/2 cup Rice raw 2 teaspoon Coriander seeds 5 teaspoons Cumin seeds 4 teaspoons Black peppercorns 8 Whole dry red chilli 6 teaspoons Asafoetida to taste Salt 3 sprigs Curry leaves 2 tablespoons Oil Method Heat oil in a non stick pan, roast urad dal, rice, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, red chillies and curry leaves till golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool. In a blender; blend the above mixture with asafoetida and salt to a fine powder.
