Honey Sesame Chicken A wonderful chicken starter – crisply fried chicken drizzled with honey and toasted sesame seeds. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless chicken breasts, Honey Cuisine Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Honey Sesame Chicken 2 Boneless chicken breasts ¼ cup Honey ¼ cup White sesame seeds to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Soy sauce 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1 Egg for garnishing Spring onion greens finely chopped Method Cut chicken in thin strips and put in a bowl. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, crushed peppercorns, soy sauce and chillies and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Toast sesame seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Add cornstarch to the marinated chicken and mix well. Deep-fry the chicken strips in hot oil till crisp and golden brown on all the sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Pour a ladleful of the same oil in another non-stick pan, break egg and add along with salt and crushed peppercorns and cook till the egg is done.
