By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Mozzarella cheese Cuisine French, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Gougères ½ cup Refined flour (maida) ¾ cup Mozzarella cheese grated 5 tablespoons Butter ½ teaspoon Salt ? teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 2 Eggs ¼ teaspoon Fresh parsley chopped ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated Method Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with a silicon sheet. Heat three-fourth cup of water in a non-stick pan. Add butter, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix and bring to a boil. Add flour and stir until it forms dough. Cook for two minutes to dry out. Transfer the dough into a bowl and cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until well combined. Add mozzarella cheese and parsley, mix well. Divide the dough into twelve equal portions and shape them into balls. Place the prepared balls on the lined tray. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for ten minutes. Reduce the temperature to 190° C and bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
