Ingredients list for Dhavan

  • 1 3/4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3/4 cup Rice Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup Ghee

Method

  1. Combine wheat flour, rice flour and salt. Sieve. Add required quantity of water to make a batter of thick pouring consistency. Leave it aside for about thirty to forty five minutes.
  2. Heat a tawa, apply a tablespoon of ghee and then pour about one fourth ladle of batter. Spread the batter into thin round shape. Cook until light golden brown in colour.
  3. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve hot.
