Dahi Waala Meat By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton on the bone, Thick yoghurt (dahi) Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course-Mutton Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Medium Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Waala Meat 1 kilogram Mutton on the bone 700 grams Thick yoghurt (dahi) 2 teaspoons cumin seeds 2-4 packets Green cardamoms Black cardamom powder 2-3 Bay leaves 2 medium bunches Ginger grated 2 tablespoons Red chilli powder to Sage Method Dry roast whole dried spices in a non-stick wok till fragrant. Cool and grind to a fine powder. Put yogurt in a bowl, add mutton, ground powder, ginger and garlic, add some of the garam masala powder, red chilli powder and salt. Keep in the refrigerator for half an hour. Place this in a pan on high heat till the water separates (around 15 minutes). Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook for another 30 minutes till mutton is done. Add remaining garam masala and fresh coriander and mix well.
