By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Vanilla ice cream, Butter Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Crunchy Caramel Sundae 500 millilitres Vanilla ice cream 2 tablespoons Butter 4 tablespoons Sugar 1 tin Apricots or peaches 1 cup Muesli,toasted 10-12 Walnut kernels coarsely crushed 1/2 cup Dry coconut (khopra) thinly shredded and toasted Method Advertisment Place sugar in a small thick bottomed pan with two tablespoons of water and keep on low heat till it begins to change colour. Stir continuously and as it begins to caramelize add butter. Remove from heat. Drain fruit and cut into small cubes. Take a tall glass and place one scoop of ice cream. Top with two tablespoons of chopped fruit and half a tablespoon of caramel mixture. Top with a small scoop of ice cream. Sprinkle a little muesli, walnut kernels and drizzle one tablespoon of caramel mixture. Decorate with toasted shredded coconut and serve immediately. Make other sundaes in the same way.
