Ingredients list for Cream Corn

  • 400 grams Sweet Corn
  • 10 tbsps + to dust Corn flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix together sweet corn, cornflour, salt, white pepper powder and one cup of water and cook till it is thick.
  2. Spread it on a greased plate, smoothen the top and keep it in the refrigerator till it sets properly. Cut into square or diamond shaped pieces and dust with cornflour.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a wok and deep-fry these pieces till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
