Ingredients list for Chutney Wale Gatte ke Chawal

  • 1 tablespoon Rajasthani lehsun apple chutney
  • 1 cup Gatte steamed and fried
  • 3 cups Basmati rice cooked
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let mustard seeds splutter.
  2. Add onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add fried gatte and mix. Add lehsun apple chutney and mix well. Add some water, mix and cook for a minute.
  3. Add salt and mix. Add India Gate Basmati Rice, spread it on top of gatte mixture and cook for a minute. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  4. Serve hot garnished with spring onion green flower and green chilli flower.
