By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Shrimps, Milk Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Christmas Shrimp Curry 4 cups Shrimps 2 medium Milk ground 1 inch piece Ginger chopped 5 tablespoons Butter 6 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 2 1/2 teaspoons Curry powder to taste Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons Sugar 2 cups Milk 1 cup Chicken stock 1 teaspoon Lemon juice Method Shell, de-vein and wash the shrimps thoroughly under running water. Drain. Heat butter in a pan. Add onion paste and ginger. Sauté for three to four minutes or till the onions turn brown. Stir in refined flour, mix well and add curry powder, salt, sugar and milk. Gradually stir in chicken stock. Cook over low heat, stirring until thickened, or for eight to ten minutes. Add shrimps and lemon juice. Cook till the shrimps are cooked.
