Ingredients list for Chocolate And Coconut Slices

  • 1 1/2 cups Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup Digestive biscuits crushed
  • 1/4 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • a pinch Salt
  • 3/4 cup Butter melted
  • 3/4 cup Condensed milk
  • 1 cup Walnuts

Method

  1.  Preheat the oven to 180°C. Add caster sugar and salt to the crushed biscuits and mix. Add melted butter and mix.
  2. Put this mixture into a greased baking dish and press. Spread desiccated coconut over and press again. Put chocolate chips over the coconut layer. Pour condensed milk and finally sprinkle the walnuts. Press lightly.
  3. Place the dish in the oven and bake at 180°C for thirty minutes. Remove from the oven and cool.
  4. Slice and serve.
