By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Brown Bread, Milk Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Choco Chip Pudding 1 cup Brown Bread 2 slices Milk 1 small Sponge cake 5 Eggs 1 cup Sugar 1 tablespoon Vanilla essence 3 3/4 cups Milk 1 medium Bananas thickly sliced 1/4 cup Raisins 2 tablespoons Pistachios blanched and sliced 1/2 cup Brown sugar Method Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut bread slices in eight small triangles. Cut cake into small pieces. In a bowl break eggs, add sugar and whisk well. Add vanilla essence and lukewarm milk and mix well. In a baking dish add the pieces of bread and cake. Add sliced bananas, raisins and half of the sliced pistachios. Pour egg-milk mixture over the bread and cake pieces. Sprinkle choco chips over the cake pieces. Sprinkle remaining sliced pistachios and spread the brown sugar all over. Bake in the preheated oven for fifty minutes at 180°C. Serve warm.
