Ingredients list for Chilli Garlic Prawn Rice

  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli flakes
  • 10-15 Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 3 cups Cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh mixed herbs (rosemary, thyme and basil) chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • for garnishing Parsley Chopped

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till it turns golden brown. Add chilli flakes, mixed herbs, chopped coriander, prawns, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.
  2. Add cooked rice, salt and drizzle little water and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
