Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken and Artichoke Pizza Recipe

  • Chicken boiled, shredded ¾ cup

  • Artichoke tinned 100 grams

  • Pizza dough readymade as required

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Pesto sauce For topping

  • Garlic cloves sliced, fried 8-10

  • Green olives pitted, sliced 6-7

  • Black olives pitted, sliced 6-7

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Basil leaves 10-12

  • Mozzarella cheese 50 grams

  • Olive oil to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C. Dust a baking tray with some flour.

Step 2

Dust the worktop with some flour. Place the dough on it and knock back to release excess air. Roll out into a square sheet.

Step 3

Place the sheet on the dusted tray and dork using a knife. Spread pesto sauce all over the surface and top with artichoke, chicken, garlic, green olives and black olives. Sprinkle crushed peppercorns, and salt on top.

Step 4

Place few basil leaves, grate mozzarella cheese and drizzle olive oil on top. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Cut into wedges and serve.
