Ingredients list for Chicken Tomato Chilli

  • 1 kilogram Chicken cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to deep fr Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Green chilli paste
  • 2 cups Tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. In a large bowl mix together chicken, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, lemon juice, turmeric powder and salt and set aside for half an hour.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai. Deep fry the chicken on medium heat till done. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside. Heat two tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan.
  3. Add green chilli paste, salt and tomato puree and mix well and cook on low heat for ten minutes. Add chicken pieces and cook on low heat for five minutes.
  4. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
