By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken breasts, Saffron (kesar) Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Sizzler With Saffron Rice 2 Chicken breasts 2-3 strands Saffron (kesar) 2 tablespoons Milk 1 cup Rice boiled 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder 4 tablespoons Butter 1 tablespo Oil 2 medium Button mushrooms sliced 3-4 Cherry tomatoes 3-4 Babycorns 2 cups French fries 4-5 florets Cauliflower 4-5 Snow peas 1 medium Carrot chopped 1 medium Green capsicum, deseeded & chopped 1 cup Brown bread 3-4 leaves Lettuce Method Soak saffron in two tablespoons of milk. Heat the sizzler plate. Dust chicken breasts with refined flour, salt, pepper powder. Heat one tablespoon butter and one tablespoon oil in a pan and shallow-fry chicken breasts till golden on both sides. Add mushrooms to the chicken. In another pan heat one tablespoon butter. Add boiled rice and stir. Add saffron soaked in milk and salt and mix well. Add cherry tomatoes and baby corns to the chicken cooking in the other pan. Add one cup of water and reduce heat. Cover and let it simmer. Put the saffron rice in a small bowl and press it a little. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan and deep-fry French fries. Drain onto an absorbent paper. In another pan heat one tablespoon of butter then add cauliflower florets, snow peas, carrot, capsicum and sauté. Add brown sauce to the chicken. Take the hot sizzler plate, place the lettuce leaves on it. Place the chicken in the center.Place saffron rice on one side and vegetables on the other. Place French fries in between. Pour sauce on top. Add one-tablespoon butter to get the sizzling effect. Serve immediately.
