By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless , Egg Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 1.30-2 hour Cook time 1.30-2 hour Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Chicken Chi Chi 450 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 1 Egg 1 pinches MSG 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder to taste Salt to deep fry Oil Garlic chopped 10 Button mushrooms halved 8-10 Babycorn halved 1 tablespoon Green chilli sauce 2 tablespoons Soy sauce 3 tablespoons Tomato ketchup 1 1/2 teaspoons Vinegar 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 2 medium Tomatoes quartered and deseeded Method Advertisment Mix together egg, half a pinch of MSG, white pepper powder, salt. Add chicken and marinate for an hour. Heat sufficient oil in a wok and deep-fry the chicken pieces. Drain on absorbent paper and keep warm. Keeping two tablespoons of oil in the wok, drain out the remaining oil. Add garlic, spring onions, mushrooms, baby corns and sauté on high heat for a minute. Add green chilli sauce, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, remaining MSG and salt. Stir in cornstarch dissolved in quarter cup of water and mix. Let the sauce simmer for three to four minutes. Add fried chicken pieces and simmer for another two to three minutes. Add the tomato quarters and immediately remove from heat. Serve hot.
