Ingredients list for Cheesy Dum Aloo

  • 1/2 cup Processed Cheese grated
  • 36 Baby Potatoes parboiled and halved without peeling
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic,roughly chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3-4 sprigs Fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Peppercorns crushed

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the potatoes in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli flakes, garlic, olive oil and mix.
  2. Add rosemary and crushed peppercorns and mix. Transfer into a baking dish and cook in the preheated oven for about twenty minutes.
  3. Take the dish out of the oven, sprinkle the grated cheese over and put it back in the oven till the cheese melts and becomes a light golden.
  4. Alternatively you can use a brulee torch to melt the cheese. Serve hot.
