By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Processed Cheese, White Bread Slices Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheesey Bread Pakora 150 grams Processed Cheese grated 8 White Bread Slices 1 1/2 cups Gram flour (besan) to taste Salt 1 medium Onion chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 Green chillies chopped 1 teaspoon Chaat masala to deep fry Oil a pinch Soda bicarbonate Method Put gram flour and salt in a bowl, add sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth and thick batter of coating consistency. Put cheese, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies and one teaspoon chaat masala in another bowl and mix well. Place a tablespoon of cheese mixture on four bread slices and spread evenly. Cover with remaining bread slices and cut into triangles. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Add soda bicarbonate to the batter and whisk well. Dip each bread triangle in it till they are well coated and deep-fry pakoras in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Cut each triangle into smaller triangles, sprinkle chaat masala on them and serve hot.
